Your goal today is to go from an unboxed machine to printing a dimensionally accurate 20mm test cube on your very first try.
1. Assembly and Levelling: Set up your printer frame, check belt tensions, and run the built-in automatic bed leveling routine.
2. Filament Loading: Preheats the hotend to 200°C and feed your PLA filament into the extruder until molten plastic flows cleanly from the nozzle.
3. Slice the Model: Import a standard 20mm XYZ Calibration Cube STL into OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer, choose a standard 0.2mm layer profile, and export the G-code.
4. Print and Measure: Start the print job, verify clean first-layer adhesion, and use your digital calipers to measure the completed cube across all axes.
Once you print a clean 20mm cube that measures within 0.1mm of accuracy on all sides, you have officially conquered day one.
